DIGITAL WORKSHOP: Navigating the Ethics of Representation

In the latest in our workshop series, founder and director of the Photography Ethics Centre Savannah Dodd, PhD, spoke to our Thursday’s Child artists about the ethics of photographic work.

Through exploring the importance of representation within visual media, to navigating conversations with commercial clients about ethics and building those within their own workflow, Dodd offered a thorough masterclass in how best to equip yourself as a photographer from an ethics lens.

This workshop is the latest in the ongoing Thursday’s Child workshop programme, which focuses on all aspects of image making, from creating killer treatments when pitching for directorial work, to curating your own portfolio to catch the eye of creative directors.

The workshops are free to all members of the Thursday’s Child community. To apply to become part of Thursday’s Child register with us here and our team will take a look through your work.
