Ellie Ramsden To Showcase Work Alongside Other Artists in Exhibition Focussed on the River Thames
Photographer Ellie Ramsden will showcase new work at an exhibition at the River & Rowing Museum in Henley-on-Thames focussed on the River Thames and other bodies of water.
The Beautiful Blue is a waterside arts and ecology project that highlights one’s relationship with the River Thames and other water bodies of the world. The exhibition brings together artists, writers, musicians, community groups and charities who each uniquely advocate for cleaner and safer waters.
Back in September 2022, Ellie began travelling around the UK to photograph and interview groups who had come together to protect waterways and raise awareness of the huge levels of pollution, most notably identified as raw sewage released from water companies. Turning the Tide, a self-initiated project by Ellie explores water pollution around the UK, focused mainly on the community groups formed to protect and revitalise our waters.
The works from this project will be on display from May 23rd to June 16th, 2024.
Congratulations, Ellie!
