Charlotte Mungomery

Charlotte Mungomery is a filmmaker, video artist, and writer  based in Australia. Her background as an APDG award winning production designer informs her formally inventive amd subversive approach to cinema and art creation. Her work plays daringly with narrative and  aesthetic abstractions.

Her filmography includes UNTIL WE TOUCH, THIS IS NOT HERE, THE ROAD & A DELICATE FIRE, and has screened at festivals and galleries in Australia and internationally. Her most recent work, ‘THIS IS NOT HERE’, was created under the guidance of Apichatpong Weerasethakul in the Amazon Rainforest. This film is part of a group exhibit at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.
