Photographer Austn Fischer has released ‘American Virgin’, a new photography book exploring gender identity, gender performance, identity, and American Portraiture.

The book’s publishing house stated: “Fischer’s practice explores the nuanced picture of gender, satire, and performance. In new ongoing works he is interested in folklore and stories that individuals have dedicated their live too. Fischer works to understand identity and the performance of the human condition.”
